To make it fun, some challenges may be timed. Some will be mere suggestions, but, from my experience, I can tell you that if you commit to a challenge then it is better to post your intentions to do so under the challenge thread. Give yourself a time frame, announce your intentions, then stick to it and then post your lovely. You would be amazed how well it works to come up with something under a deadline- even your own.
