I like the first pair a lot. I like the off centered look (kinda like me ;D ).
The second, I'm not sure about, something is missing. The last I like much better with the coil winding up the center. It has more balance and less white space.

Thanks Me.. I'm on the fence about the 3rd, it looks a bit too busy.. and the stones -though I love calm moss green of the unakite- are a bit boring.. maybe it's just the weather here.. my soul is screaming for some reds and sunny colors now that everything is muddy, gray and dead all around.. Agree about the moonstone emptiness, but they look better in the ears and against the dark backdrop. Maybe they'd look better oxidized..

I like all three of them, for different reasons, and I like how you explored and varied the basically simple shape. In the first one I like the smaller bead size and colour combination of purple with copper. The orientation of the center ornament is unusual, but I like it. I love the second one best, for its clean and clear look. I would probably like it even better if it had the inside ornament of the third one. I agree that the third one is a bit busy, the unakite pattern is very prominent, and the beads are "dancing", if you know what I mean. Here the fluorite or the moonstone would look awesome. Personally I'm not fond of unakite, the green is lovely, but this pale orangey-pink is not for me. Maybe I've never seen a good one, but I think it would be a real challenge to bring out the best in this stone.

Virginia, where I live, has wonderful unakite. It is the state stone and sometimes called Virginia stone. I've seen some really, really nice pieces.

Thanks for comments Renate It's so interesting to read how others see the pieces! and the beads are "dancing", if you know what I mean. I guess you mean that the beads are sticking out, and every other bead to the different side? I deliberately wrapped them so that they would be on the "outside" of the frame to add some modest 3d. And it worked real nice with transparent beads.. not so much with unakite. I agree that smaller and transparent beads look better. Will probably try to make the last frame with smaller faceted moonstone.. or maybe explore the shape further and make more variations

Hi Laura! I like them all! I love the shapes of the middles of the first ones - remind me of fish. The colours of the second are mesmerising. Moonstone and copper make a great combo. Usually I don't like mixing metals, to me it's like drilling a stone, just wrong! ;D That said I really like them! IThe unakite looks great with the copper too! So, in summary I like them all! ;D

Hi Laura! Hmmmm..I have to say, the first one is my favorite. The shapes and the stones work very well together. The 2nd one has too much empty space in the center, I think, but I do like the stones and the wire. The 3rd one, I like the shapes and the stones a lot but think there is a little too much going on with the mixed metals. This one would be outstanding in just copper. You do earrings very well! Hey Tela, I had no idea Ukanite was Virginia's state stone and I too am a Virginian..maybe I can be forgiven as I grew up in Iowa. Would love to see some local stone!

Yes, I agree with Christine about the 3rd pair- the mixed metals create too much competition with the pattern of the Unakite. If these were all copper, I think they'd be really very nice. I personally like the 2nd pair very much. I think they look like hoops- and lovely red hair must be a delightful contrast. I think that design is one that changes when it is put in a person's ear- what seems too empty, really just becomes more focused on the pretty roundness once it's in an ear (not sure if that makes any sense at all, lol) The first pair is pretty. I like asymmetry!

Thanks for the update- now you know where to put your energy. Of the new ones, I love the last pair. Love the colors and details. I don't think they look too busy.

Laura, I like all three pairs. The third one surprised me with so much color. After studying them awhile, I think the bright colors would be so fun to wear. They would definately brighten up a dreary winter day or look great on a hot summer day!
