Finally got around to creating a page. I still have no idea if it will work ok. I have tried to link twitter to the 'fanpage' as opposed to my main page. Think that went o'k. I am now using my fanpage as my main page but now it won't let me 'like' things unless I 'switch' to my main account? Anyway, I'll get there in the end! I just wondered after all that if there is anyone else out there with facebook so I can make it look as if I have some friends!! ;D

Hey Glenda, So did you make a page with the "like" button? Then you can tell us here how you are called and we can look for you and hit the like button. You can find my page under www.facebook.com/lasjoyasdejanaIf you created a profile with you business name, then we need to find you using the friend finder. Again, what is the name we need to look for? Just for clarification, and because I know there is plenty of confusion with the whole FB thingie: A profile is your personal page. You have "friends" there and it's meant as a personal site for you. In order to be able to see your posts and comment on your wall, people will need to send or be sent a friend request which you need to approve. All this depending on how much you allow to be seen by "non-friends". A fan page is the kind of page with the "like" button. You don't need to "friend" people in order for them to see your page, comment on your posts or interact with you. It's meant to be used by businesses. And to end, just a little heads up: There have been comments about how fb has closed some profiles made for businesses as they state this isn't allowed in their terms of use. However there are so many that it is hard for them to keep up. No need to worry about it I hope. Also, if you have a profile set up for your business, there is a way to convert it to a fan page (sorry, not sure how, but I think it's fairly easy) Don't know if this helps, if it's superfluous info or anything, but feel free to use what you need and ignore the rest And of course, if you have more questions, I may be able to answer... Cheers, Jana ETA: Christine, looked you up! Niiiice. And Glenda, in case it wasn't clear: I would love to be friends with you on FB!

Thanks Christine, Jana!! Christine, I couldn't find you, most likely because you didn't pop out of the screen! ha ha This is the link to mine www.facebook.com/pages/JCIC-Jewellery-Glenda-Jones/223360427732328Please come and find me!! ;D Jana, yes it has a like button! I didn't select business when I created the page I selected artist - thought that was safer!! I think therefore it must be a fanpage? You have helped alot and it's good to know you have a brain for me to pick!! Thank you! - and for offering to be my friend! ;D I'm heading your way thanks for the link! Glenda x

I'm so glad mine is done. It was one of those things that I had been wanting to do for ages. I built in into a big thing which I am so relieved is now done. It was a lot simpler than I thought it would be but it still stretched by computer abilities!! ;D

I created a fanpage and I think this is the right addy www.facebook.com/pages/Tela-Formosa/125986327514424 Isn't that an awfully long address? I don't use FB much and I always feel like I am doing something wrong. I put my store on there, though. At least, I could figure out that much

;D Such a relief when its done isn't it?! Thanks for 'liking' me. There doesn't seem to be a 'like' button so I can 'like' you and there is no place for me to leave a message! Hmmm I'll go take another look. Couldn't find your shop either - Which is probably a good thing Im sure it would cost me money ;D

Ok, I'm still working on it and getting grayer by the second. I have a FB page and a Fan page. I had to make a fanpage to put my store on it. So, I have the two, unfortunately. It get's confusing. The fanpage has my name on the image, my fb page does not. My fanpage also has a products button on the left.
From what I can tell, the LIKE is under where it says how many likes I have on the left. Something tells me I did something wrong somewhere.
