I have never gotten into the metaphysical or healing properties of rocks. It's not that I don't believe it. At one point, years ago, when I was selling on eBay- I thought to include that info in my ads, but I found conflicting information everywhere I looked. That left a real bad feeling for me about the subject and I never did it. I would like to know more about it without spending a ton of time finding a reliable source for information. Questions: Do you follow/believe/use the metaphysical/healing properties of rocks? Do you find any truth in the claims. What is a reliable place to find that information? I always wonder, is it possible to wear 2 kinds of rocks that when combined are supposed to be bad for you?
I am completely ignorant- anything you want to share will be helpful. I find the whole subject confusing. I believe at some level there is some legitimacy to it, but I think there is a lot is hype and BS that I'd like to sort past.

I'm afraid as an old sceptic I do not believe in esoteric or healing properties. Sometimes when looking for stones on markets or in small shops I feel I need to explain that I don't believe. In one case that started a pleasant conversation with a very nice shop owner.
Advertising metaphysical properties of jewelry or any other product would not draw me in as a potential customer, rather make me more critical.
I may not believe in metaphysical properties of rocks, but I *do* believe in the effect of beliefs. So if someone believes that one particular stone helps to clear the mind, or improves ones health, then it may be actually true for this person. I guess I see metaphysics as something existing in the mind, and not in a product.
Btw, if you describe healing properties, you would also have to put in a disclaimer.

I lean to the skeptic myself. That's why I want to know more. I don't think I want to advertise healing properties. If someone is into it, they probably don't need me to tell them. I am just very curious.
