Penny, Hope you have recovered. 10 hours of shopping sounds like no fun at all. I am so thankful for the internet and do all of my shopping that way. So far, it has worked out well and so much easier than crowds and traffic. Be gentle with yourself!

Penny, I really feel for you! I LOATH shopping. I hate the crowds, the traffic, the rude people, the smells and everything else about it. I have been lucky to be able to do a little at a time with my daughter, early in the morning, before the crowds hit. But, mostly, I do it like Christine--- online. Oh yes, the blessing of shopping online. I LOVE it! ThinkGeek got most of my money this year. Love that store. I have always been happy with every aspect of shopping there. (We are a geeky family.)

Penny, I hope you have been at least successful with your shopping, and recovered by now!
Like Tela and Christine I have switched to online-buying almost completely. Not only is it less stressful and faster, I usually even have a better choice of products. I'm afraid it will finish off the local trade sooner or later, but hardly any local shop can keep up with the choice I have online, in particular in English language books, or jewelry related products.
