I need to use a buy use bench pin for sawing, but my table won't accommodate a clamp. Any ideas what I can do? I'm drawing blanks. I don't know how many of you use one, but it can't hurt to ask, right? I may ask this at JL, too. If you too are curious and this get s no answers, maybe it will at JL.

Perri, over at JL at a good idea. It requires putting holes in the table though-- but she did get my thinking cap on straight and I think I have a solution. I really need a bench pin to save my hands and fingers from the filing.

I use a wooden ring clamp to hold small pieces (while filing and finishing) and wire for hand coiling. It helps prevent hand pain for me.
