I didn't have the right size cab!! I didn't have 18g. I think the seed beads are a little small! Very little 26g! Didn't have any half round wire! All this considered I should have waited! That's not me! When I want something I want it yesterday!! ha ha So, The heart I used is actually a very large Agate (?)bead (1 1/2 " accross and down) It doesn't have domed sides either!! The frame wire is 16g round. I think with the stone being bigger than the one in the tut I was able to get the beands without a problem. The prongs are 20g square, hammered a little (on the binding!). I have been using so much 26g on doggy coats I have ran out!! I was going to make a woven bail. When it arrives I think I will! The stone is so shiny it is a real pig to photograph!! I chose orange for the beads as, if you look really closely there are two tiny orange triangles in the centre of the rectangle! I learnt a new way to finish the bottom back of the bail with this tut too - that will come in handy!! Thanks for a great Tutorial Tela! ;D All feedback is welcomed - Let me have it!! ha ha

Very nice, Glenda! I love the colors, they really pop and I love the heart! I wouldn't have thought to try it and I don't have any if I did. Guess I should think about getting some with Valentine's coming. LOL!
You really impress me with the way you took what you had and went with it. It certainly paid off. But, I have a question-- Does this cab really not have sloped sides? I can't get it to work without a slope.
I've done this bail quite a few times, when called for. As long as it is flush, it will be ok.

Glenda, I think you did a great job with this especially considering all of the substitutions you used. I had not noticed the orange triangles before. Well Done!

I have checked the heart again and whilst it isn't domed the edges are slightly bevelled. I have blacked out some of the picture!!! Don't want to give anything away!! ha ha ;D I'm running out of light and still don't have anything set up so I hope you can see what I mean in the picture!

Hi Glenda, Very cool. I am glad you did not have all the supplies and had to improvise. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Lee-Ann
