I've just discovered a new material ;-) - it is sheet metal, very malleable, surely NOT a health risk, comes (almost) for free, and is of a nice gold colour on one side, and printed on the other one. Only drawback is that it tends to have sharp edges. Can you guess? It is the tomato paste/puree tube! ;D When you cut it open, clean and smooth it, it's a great material to make beads. Got the idea here: kilnfiredart.co.uk/blog/?p=1731 Not yet anything to display, but I'm having fun after a long dry spell.

You'll have to show us when you are done. I am trying to remember if my cans are gold inside. I seem to recall everything being white.
This sounds promising- it reminds me that we used to cut up and use coffee cans to mend rust holes at the body shop. LOL!
