I was melting metal. I did it so much, I think I forgot how to wrap. I'm slumping in Feb.

Can't believe it is Feb. already. I have been learning new weaves and feel in a happy zone with the Zen like movements of it!

Great idea, but unfortunately my January was filled with everything else but jewelrymaking. Wait... I've won some lovely small cabs, three books, and two poor pairs of pliers.

I've mentioned already the book about wired macrame, another book is Abby Hooks Wire Jewelry Masterclass (highly recommended), and the third is Lacy Wire Jewelry by Melody McDuffy (versatile, relaxed wrapping).

Hi All! I've been working on my Etsy shop and making a few earrings to keep me from going insane. I'm still working on photos. They take so long! I'm going to be real brave and post what I have done of my shop in the Den. Any suggestions are welcome!

Hey Kate- I offered what I could at this hour of the morning. If anything else comes to me, I'll let you know. And, yes, the photos take forever, but think of it as setting up your jewelry in a display case. It's the same thing. And, picture editing DOES get faster and easier as you go. You eventually develop a system of your own.

Yep, time flies fast.. but at this moment I'm rather happy about that - here it's been minus 20 (and colder) lately and I just cannot wait for the spring to come.. I hate this f*ing freezing antarctic weather more than anything else in the world.

In January I had a big goal to push my item number in Etsy shop to 100 - people say that's a magic number. Year, right. Magic enough to make my shop freeze in mid Jan Struggled a bit because at the same time the first listings started to expire but now I'm at 112. Waiting for the magic to work ;D

And I've finally started playing with my pebble collection and working on the "beach combers" theme, will post pics later. Also fell in love with LOS, but I guess that's in February, so doesn't count
