Contest

My challenge for last year was to enter a contest for the very first time. I still have to laugh when I remember how shaky I was when I sent the online form off. I applied with a loomed piece after looming for only about four months, so maybe you understand my feelings.
And now I made it among the six pieces eligible for voting for the audience favorite

I guess that should teach me something, huh?

I'm not a fan of contests, so I have never entered into one, but I can imagine it must be nervewrecking!
Is the place where you participated a secret? Or did you just forget to add the link?

Well, I don't know if I'll participate in other contests, but it's an experience.

Good for you!!!! And, how awesome it is that you placed! You have to feel so proud of yourself. I'm not sure your link is good, I couldn't find what I thought might be yours. I'm sure it's beautiful.

I, too, have a fear to overcome... I have been wanting to submit to magazines and haven't done it. I don't know why I am so hesitant. I was published many years ago, when I was new and had all the confidence in the world. For some reason, I have less these days.

Lapidary Journal would be SOOOOOO awesome! I love that mag. Slowly but surely I am gathering up the courage to submit. It's on my list, now I just have to work my way to it.
