Hi everyone! ....Hmmm, now what do I say? I'm really excited to be here. Other stuff about me: 1) I'm absolutely addicted to wire wrapping although generally as a student, there isn't a lot of time for me to do it. 2) I am also addicted to beads and stones and crystals. (...this probably isn't the best place to fight that addiction, is it?) 3) My ideal present would be enormous industrial sized spools of wire and a wheel of authentic parmesean cheese. And wings. 4) I have two budgies 5) I think pockets are one of the best inventions EVER, right next to fire, language and the wheel 6) I'm up in Canada, as you will see by my spelling. Look forward to meeting all of you and seeing your wonderful creations

A budgie is a really cute, amazing, mischievious type of bird, which may or may not be domesticated. Once this type of bird moves, in, it agrees to let you have house room in exchange for willingly and tirelessly serving its needs and whims eg) eating holes in the couch and climbing up the new curtains BTW I can't wait to see all the pretty earrings !!

OOOOHHH, OK! Your budgie sounds really cute, I've never heard of such a pet.
I don't know about pretty earrings.... I just uploaded one to the challenge and I don't think of it as pretty. ;D

Hello D!! Nice to meet you! Do your budgies talk? Aren't they the cutest little things.
Tela: Budgie is short for budgerigar (think I spelt that right!), that are native of Australia where they fly freely.

Hi Glenda, nice to meet you too! Nah, my budgies don't talk English. Instead they demand that I speak Bird, in order to take care of them Thanks for giving Tela the technical definition of a budgie though.

Hi Dearrings and welcome! This is going to be a great site I can tell already. The budgies are cute although I am not sure I would appreciate the holes in the couch!

Hello D. Welcome!! What a cool thing to be thankful for; pockets!! I've always taken them for granted, but they hold our money, keep our cold winters fingers warm and are everywhere from jeans, to coats to purses. I'm sure that the kangaroo would agree with you that pockets are indeed a great thing to own. ~Susan

D is the first letter of my top secret real life name. But my family often calls me D...or other embarrassing pet names The Dearrings part came about because when I first started wire wrapping, all I made was earrings. D+earrings =Dearrings. <------mom's idea
