We call it wire work, but there are so many different techniques, many of them don't even seem to have a name.
Maybe we can make a kind of encyclopedia list, and try to explain and illustrate with pictures?
There is - weaving - wrapping - coiling - knitting - crochet
as general categories, but each has several patterns and variations.
Any more suggestions?
