PS or Gimp challenge

Post before and after pictures of the best save or improvement you have made with a picture using one of these programs or another. Sometimes, I am just amazed at how much can be done with a picture.

(We should have some directions for posting pictures through a picture hosting service soon. )

Just the minor detail of downloading the appropriate software, following your guidelines/advice and managing to come out the other end with something worth submitting!!
