Hi all! My name is Kay, and I hail from western New York State, USA. I was thrilled to stumble upon the link to this forum while perusing Tela's blog. I look forward to learning from and sharing with all of you. I'm sure that I will be much more on the learning end than the sharing end! I am a bit of a dabbler and create only to please myself. (Selfish, aren't I?) I consider my jewelry making to be my art therapy. ;D I have done some wire work, some chain maille, metal clay, and some stringing. My favorite creations tend to combine those techniques. I love all of them, but can't say that I have truly mastered any! Thank you, Reneta and Tela for creating this space.

Glenda, I wish I could say you will see them soon. Unfortunately, a photographer I am most definitely NOT. Most of my "dabbles" have gone out the door to family and friends without ever being photographed. Those that have been are still on the memory card in the camera! Ah, someday I will have the time and a patient friend to help me learn!

Hi Kay, Maybe Tela's thread on editing pics etc could help you out!! Im like you I have sooo many things to do that there is never enough time! As soon as I get the chance I am going to download the photo software she is reffering to, follow the instructions and hopefully come up with something good!!

Lol, Kay- I know what you mean about the photography! I consider myself to be a bit camera challenged- it's really been a hindrance to me. I feel like I waste so much time on pictures, when I could be making jewelry. It's not like I have tons of time to spare. This is where I have the worst attitude about the jewelry business. If I had an assistant willing to photograph, describe and list each item on line, I think I would be reasonably successful, but I can't afford an assistant, and no one has come begging to do this for me, lol again. I s'pose I will eventually quit being such a whiner, put on my big-girl panties and get to taking the pictures with gusto... guess I better get started learning from Tela about the photo end of things.
