When we announce a challenge we give deadlines, because often it is the deadline that we need to get started. But none of our deadlines is cast in iron, and actually none of our challenges will ever end. ;D So I thought I give an overview here (assuming that this list will grow considerably!), for members who are new or would like to chime in later. ******NEW*******January 2012: Lucky Charm Challenge - starting at 00.01h 1.1.2012, no end date****************November: - Musical challenge - *updated deadline: Wednesday, Nov. 30* October: - Tela earrings ("horizontal")------------------------------------------ And then there are some challenges pending. I suppose some feel they may be bigger projects which take some more time to think about. - Pick a time- PS or Gimp photosAnd we have plans for more - there is a very nice one (we think!) planned for December. Something to look forward to. But for now: Let's face the music and dance!  |

Glenda, you are not alone! I'm struggling myself. I'm hibernating it seems, and terribly tired all the time - not a condition that helps creativity. I have managed to make something, but failed my own goal, and would feel a bit sheepish to post it.  Do we need a further extension of the deadline? Just over the weekend? Would that help? |

I think maybe it would.  The trouble here is I have been so busy I haven't had much free time - Like everyone at the moment it seems - and my muse won't switch on as quickly as I would like her to in the time available! ha ha ;D Its very windy here this morning!! Hibernation doesn't seem such a bad idea! I hope the tiredness passes soon! |

Glenda, dear, PLEASE post your piece whenever you are done with it! I made up the challenge and I'm late, too- so I have it on good authority that you will be forgiven. LOL!!! The point is to have fun. If this challenge doesn't work for you, then maybe the next one will. It's all about creativity and having fun... and maybe pushing boundaries you thought you had. (Not you, the collective "you".) |

I wonder, is there interest to start a December challenge? It's a good idea (I think) related to this forum, and I don't want it to get lost in the upcoming holiday season.
Are you ready for a new big challenge, or would you prefer a brief, short challenge at this point, or none at all until the holiday frenzy is over?
Would love to hear what you think.

After the first of the year would allow me to participate. I thought I was doing ok until both my dear brothers called this week with jewelry orders. Luckily I have the supplies and ideas..now to make them and get them in the mail. Gotta love little brothers! |

Christine, congrats for the orders!!! Your little brothers have a very good taste.  I also welcome to take a break until after New Year. I have a job closely related to accounting, and the end of year is always the worst time for deadlines and working late hours. |
