Friendly chit chat!! - I'm assuming this area is a bit like a chill out lounge. Where you would come to switch off from jewellery mode? (*Stands aghast* IS there such a thing as switching off from jewellery mode!!) Where we can share what's going on in other areas of our lives, that may be of interest to our creative friends! Chatting in this way I'm sure will build stronger bonds and better friendships - for those that want to share, of course.

Exactly! Post about your cats for example. A cat thread would be great. With pictures.
Or if you think a category or board is missing, or how the forum could be improved, suggestions are welcome.

Cool! Im really excited about being here!! How about a category for members to recommend suppliers of all things shiney!! (not exclusive to shiney, but you get my drift!! ha ha) Will go look for a cool cat pic and then see if I can work out how to upload it!!!

Glenda, I've listened, and there is now a suppliers category, or, as proboards calls it, a board. There is also a section where everything tutorial-related can go. No special cat boards yet, but I hope you will post nice piccies of your plushheads here. ;-)
As for uploading pictures, it seems that proboards is working on something right now that allows direct upload. (But it comes and goes.)
Meanwhile you could probably use photobucket. I hope to come up with some instructions how to upload pictures soon. Watch the techie section.

 Plushhead is a direct translation from German, Plüschkopf. It is not a common expression, but I think it is a very fitting description.

I agree. It would be great to have a place to go for personal chats that doesn't involve jewelry. It is what will help to make the site even more human and real.
